The company is looking for a Brick / Heavyside Internal Sales Executive for our Head Office Department to join the sales team. The successful applicant will hold key responsibilities not just within this depot but to work with our other branches to ensure company expectations are met.

Key responsibilities
  • ★An experienced sales person, specialising in building materials, customer-facing and over the telephone, with excellent product knowledge of Bricks and Block
  • ★Skilled at establishing and meeting customers purchase needs
  • ★Confident in providing advice on alternative and/or more suitable products
  • ★Able to deliver outstanding customer service
  • ★In possession of strong resilience and able to stay calm and professional during busier periods
  • ★Able to produce product quotations and ensure they are followed up on
  • ★Exemplary at retaining and developing new and existing accounts

People Skills
  • ★You will have previous experience working within the building industry
  • ★Ambition to work for a leading Builders Merchants in order to strive for success
  • ★Must have some IT knowledge of using computer systems
  • ★A competent IT user and able to produce sales notes and maintain records as required
  • ★Strong at building relationships, with customers and with your colleagues
  • ★Willing to work as part of the team in keeping the branch clean, tidy, well stocked and organised
  • ★Desirable skills would be working previously in a similar industry

▼Accounts Assistant
     Location: Head Office, Pinfold Street Darlaston

The company is looking for an Accounts Assistant for our Head Office Department to join the Accounts/Purchasing team. The successful applicant will hold key responsibilities not just within this depot but to work with our other branches to ensure company expectations are met.

Key responsibilities
  • ★Matching purchase invoices against the appropriate delivery notes/purchase order and price checking
  • ★Raising/following up queries both in house and with suppliers
  • ★Answer telephone/emails and provide suppliers with information in relation to invoice queries/payments
  • ★Work to deadlines for both sales and purchase ledgers
  • ★Set up and manage paper filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork or maintaining documents for both sales and purchase ledgers
  • ★Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers or phone systems
  • ★General duties in relation to sales and purchase ledger
  • ★Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
  • ★Post office run for the accounts office
  • ★Answer and assist telephone queries from suppliers regarding unpaid invoices and payment requests
  • ★Printing additional statements and copy invoices that they may be missing for customers/suppliers as and when required
  • ★Assist all colleagues with any help or assistance they may require.

People Skills
  • ★Previous experience with an account’s office
  • ★Excellent telephone manner
  • ★Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ★Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload
  • ★Excellent attention to detail and timelines
  • ★Working to tight deadlines
  • ★Must have some IT knowledge of using computer systems
